#TuesdayThoughts

Welcome back! For those that missed #MondayMotivation, I leave a hyperlink right here.

Self-help books are on my mind today. They seem to be selling like freshly baked cupcakes. Everyone is trying to find the “miracle” cure/ answer to their life problems. However, what many people forget is that the books are called SELF-help for a reason.

YOU need to want to help yourself.
YOU need to figure out what works for YOU.
YOU have to change YOUR mindset and do all the work.

I feel like all these can be is inspiration. We might be struggling with similar issues, but our circumstances are different. What works for me might not work for you. We are all different. No lives are the same.

So today, I urge you to implement one thing into your life that will help you start a great habit, or help you break a bad one.

My chosen song for the day:

“It’s like a thunder without rain,
And like a week without Sunday,
Oh, like a book without last page,
You want to buy a happy faith.”

P.S. Yes, I created the header image. You like it? Heheh…

Stay golden,

  1. Well, I can tell my design brain is awake because the moment I read your P.S. note, I started thinking about fun ways to play with the typography of the wording 😛

Anyway, great post! It honestly seems like half of the world’s problems are because people don’t want to put the work in. As you pointed out, the only way a self help book won’t just be a paperweight is if one puts the effort in. I also loved that Mark Twain quote, definitely going to have to save that one for my quote collection XD

    1. That’s awesome to hear. When it comes to drawing or anything related I have no talent, so I found it funny to do what I did. Also, I wanted to have something of my own other than default Internet pics. And also something that would stand out for recurring events.

Glad you enjoyed. Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Perfectly said. Yes, I found that quote years ago and found it suitable for the post.

  2. The theme of creating good habits seems prevalent today. I just read another blog about doing today whatever you have been thinking about wanting to do. And Im currently writing a presentation with a similar message…very cool. And I liked your post. Thank you.

    1. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. That is pretty funny. But, who dares to think about the same things as I do??? Plagiarism. Just kidding.
A presentation you say. Sounds very cool indeed!
Seems like we are all on a good way to making our lives better with the good habits.
