Appreciation 4 appreciation.

*** NOMINATION NO. 11 (out of 15) ***
*THE LIEBSTER AWARD*

FROM: Randomness Inked, who shares poems, writing challenges, thoughts and much more.

QUESTIONS FOR ME (and my answers):

  1. What is your first memory of writing?
My parents put a lot of pressure into my handwriting being neat. So I remember my parents sitting around me while I worked on it.

  2. Who/What inspired you to write? How?
I do not think anyone in particular did. My teachers were supportive of the stories I produced. The books I read were something I longed to achieve.

  3. Which is your favorite read? Why?
I do not have favorites. What I liked yesterday might not suit my mood today. There is a lot of great books!

  4. What is that one book you wish you had written?
I started a supernatural book before Harry Potter (and others that followed) was popular. I wish I wrote it and finished it and maybe I would be the J.K. Rowling…

  5. Describe yourself (a) in one word and (b) in one sentence.
(a)unpredictable; (b)I am a great friend and a terrible enemy.

  6. What is that one event in life that taught you the most?
Death. To treasure what you have and tell the people around you how much they are appreciated.

  7. What do you notice in a person when you meet them for the first time?
Handshake (if we shake hands). Otherwise, what they say/ how they act.

  8. What is the one thing that you love about yourself?
Being able to understand all signs of the coin. Being a fast learner. Being able to adapt to any situation. Well, I guess that is three things. Some might say I am narcissistic, but I disagree.

  9. According to you, what is life?
Call me when you figure that one out. It is a game of trials and errors.

  10. What is writing to you?
Writing to me is a great form of expression and a great tool to keep my brain working.

    1. Sure, just follow the rules. Create a new post on your blog, copy the image for the award from the Internet or the first page of my post. Then, mention that you got nominated by me, answer the questions I came up for you, form new questions and nominate other bloggers that you want to recognize. It sounds more complicated than it really is.

  3. Congratulations on all your awards! I appreciate the nomination but do not participate. In the spirit of community I will offer a couple of blogging tips here for newbies:

    1. Set goals. Each writer blogs for different reasons. It can be easy to get swept up by all the activity, creativity and fun in the blogosphere. Think about why you blog. Set your own goals for how many posts per week, length, and topics.
    2. Track your goals and posts with an editorial calendar. It’s a way to curate your work and easily draw from for sharing posts from your archives or using a past post for a new development.

    Bonus tip: have fun!

    1. Thank you for sharing your tips. They are definitely spot on. I’m thinking about incorporating a calendar to my blog, but I’m not quite sure how I want to do it just yet.
      Thanks for stopping by, Charli!
