Appreciation 4 appreciation.

*** NOMINATION NO. 3 (out of 15) ***

FROM: Patrick Real Stories – a blog full of personal views on every day topics.

QUESTIONS FOR ME (and my answers):

  1. What is your earliest childhood memory you can think of?
Probably me running away from home.

  2. What is your favorite social media site?
I have a love-hate relationship with those. Does WordPress count? I like it because I am not limited in the amount of words I write, and the interactions with other bloggers are often more meaningful than on other sites.

  3. Where would you spend your Christmas if you have a million dollar offer from BILL GATE go?
It would be fun to spend Christmas in Finland, near the North Pole. Of course, I would require a lot of hot beverages, a fireplace and a warm house. Preferably with a hot tub.

  4. What is your best musical instrument?
Kind of simple and cliche, but – a guitar.

  5. What is your favorite cartoon?
Plenty of the old school ones. The Moomins, Gummi Bears, the Smurfs, etc.

  6. Do you have a celebrity crush? Tell us his/her?
    No, I do not.

  7. What are the favorite foods you like?
I enjoy Mexican food a lot. Fajitas, tacos, etc.

  8. Do you wake up early or like to sleep late?
I like to sleep in late.

  9. Do you drink and get drunk?
    Those days are past me.

  10. What kind of red wine do you like?
    Made by my family.

  11. What do you like to do in the evening after work hours?
For the past couple of months blogging has become that. Working out in the evening is also something I enjoy.

I hope you guys enjoy your blogging journey and stick with it. I sure look forward to your posts.

  1. Tell me about a time when you did something wrong/ made a mistake, but no one noticed. (I am aware this is not a question…)
  2. Which superhero would you like to interview and why?
  3. What mundane thing is “magical” to you and why?
  4. Would you like to read minds and why?
  5. What question do you hate to answer?
  6. What makes you feel powerful?

    1. Sure, just follow the rules. Create a new post on your blog, copy the image for the award from the Internet or the first page of my post. Then, mention that you got nominated by me, answer the questions I came up for you, form new questions and nominate other bloggers that you want to recognize. It sounds more complicated than it really is.

  4. Congratulations on all your awards! I appreciate the nomination but do not participate. In the spirit of community I will offer a couple of blogging tips here for newbies:

    1. Set goals. Each writer blogs for different reasons. It can be easy to get swept up by all the activity, creativity and fun in the blogosphere. Think about why you blog. Set your own goals for how many posts per week, length, and topics.
    2. Track your goals and posts with an editorial calendar. It’s a way to curate your work and easily draw from for sharing posts from your archives or using a past post for a new development.

    Bonus tip: have fun!

    1. Thank you for sharing your tips. They are definitely spot on. I’m thinking about incorporating a calendar to my blog, but I’m not quite sure how I want to do it just yet.
      Thanks for stopping by, Charli!
