Award Ceremony – Feb. 2018

*NOMINATION NO. 20*
*SUNSHINE BLOGGER AWARD*

(See page 1 for thanks and intro.)

FROM: Anisha, who writes short stories, poems and arguments with her brain. If you need some creativity, or a good laugh, head over to that blog. Tell her I sent you.

RULES:

  • Thank the blogger(s) who nominated you and link back to their blog.
  • Answer the questions the blogger asked you.
  • Nominate  blogs to receive the award and compose new questions for them to answer.
  • List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award Logo in your post and/or on your blog.

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS:

  1. Why is your blog named what it is named? “One day at a time… /// To stop a whirlwind” In other words – take a deep breath and focus on today. Take life one step at a time.
  2. What’d your blog be named if it wasn’t named what it is named right now? No idea. This one took me a while to figure out. Maybe “A little bit of everything”?
  3. Rank the following in order of your preference- books, tv shows, movies. Just how you wrote it. Books first, movies last.
  4. Name something that you’re interested in but other people find you being interested in it weird. No clue. You would have to ask them. Maybe I am not as weird as I thought I was, after all…
  5. Which language do you think/talk to yourself in? English
  6. What would you do if you found out that all the fictional universes you’re a fan of are real but you’re just a normal human being? Since nothing would change for me, I would be upset for being so useless and boring for a brief second, and then resume my regular life. I might be on the lookout for some unusual people I could befriend to catch a glimpse of those universes.
  7. Rank the following in order of your preference- Invisibility cloak, Elder wand, Resurrection stone. (And don’t you tell me you don’t know what they are). 1. The cloak, 2. The stone, 3. The wand.
  8. Name one thing and one person you’d take along with you if you were trapped on a deserted island. My partner.
  9. If you could choose what you studied in school/college, what subjects would you choose? (They can be anything. Get creative- you don’t have to stick to the conventional subjects that are usually taught. Not unless you want to.) I would like to learn how to fly.
  10. Name 5 things on social media that make you cringe. Selfies. Political debates. Chains (ex.: If you care about this, re-post. Otherwise, I will know you suck.) Better question: What DOESN’T make me cringe?
  11. If you were kidnapped by the ISIS, and you could choose who rescued you, who would it be and why? (The person can be real or fictional. They don’t even have to be a person. Name anyone you want to.) I do not care who rescues me, as long as they do.

MY QUESTIONS TO YOU:

Please answer the above questions no. 3, 4.

  1. Congratulations on the host of Awards! Very well deserved indeed! & Thank You for the recognition on your post. Happy to be on the list. I liked the 2nd fact about yourself where you discovered you could have consolidated all of those into 1 post but kept going anyway.:)

I commend you on the level of details you maintained throughout the post and your commitment on getting back to every one! 🙂

  2. Congratulations on your many awards! I love that you put time into answering all of them and didn’t take any easy outs.

Also, reading this makes me feel like a lazy 💩 for my post drafts. 😂
Thanks for inspiring me to pick up the pace!

Also, I slept on a plane once and waking up to a stewardess sitting up my chair before landing in a place I’d never been was one of the most disorienting events of my life. I won’t be doing that again.

  3. I have been nominated a couple of times, but never for the “7 facts about me”.
The one I was aiming for. And now you did! Thanks!

I never participated in awards exactly for the reason that people will a comment with “congratulations” and the leave. They probably didn’t even read the thing.

Anyhow, I did read yours and I see quite some similarities!
My favorite fact is: “I prefer having no Internet to having slow Internet”.

  7. Took me a while to find no. 20. That was quite a lengthy award ceremony. But congratulations to you on all those awards!
And yeah, I wrote the books, tv shows and movies in that order because that’s my ranking too 🙂 Good to know we have something else in common.
    Congrats once again!

    1. I’m doing alright, thank you for asking.
I trust you’ve been alright as well?
So your nomination is on page 7 of this post. Long story short – you create a new post, and in it you mention whom you got the nomination from, put in the award’s logo (page 1 of this post of mine), answer the question(s) you were asked, and then nominate your own set of bloggers, create questions for them. And you’re done!
