A big “THANK YOU” goes to those who keep visiting my blog on a regular basis and express their approval with award nominations. You never seize to amaze me.
It is a fantastic feeling to see people relate to what I write. As my WordPress blogging community grows, I myself grow. Meeting people from different corners of the world, and from different walks of life gives me the priceless ability to learn more, which in turn broadens my horizons and helps me write better posts.
Some people might find these award posts repetitive and boring to read, but I choose to do them, because it feels like a privilege to me. Moreover, some of these awards encourage the sharing of blogging tips, which can be very helpful not only for the newbies, but for us all. As a bonus, these posts allow me to show you a glimpse of myself. As I am somewhat a private person, my regular posts do not contain a lot of info about me. These award posts allow you to get to know me better. (Full disclosure: the “7 interesting facts about me are far from “interesting”.)
P.S. If you did not find yourself in the nominated list, I apologize. It is nothing personal. I value various bloggers a lot. I might have overlooked you with my tired eyes. Or maybe you have so many awards already that I decided to share this batch with some less recognized ones.

Also, I slept on a plane once and waking up to a stewardess sitting up my chair before landing in a place I’d never been was one of the most disorienting events of my life. I won’t be doing that again.

I never participated in awards exactly for the reason that people will a comment with “congratulations” and the leave. They probably didn’t even read the thing.
Anyhow, I did read yours and I see quite some similarities!
My favorite fact is: “I prefer having no Internet to having slow Internet”.

So your nomination is on page 7 of this post. Long story short – you create a new post, and in it you mention whom you got the nomination from, put in the award’s logo (page 1 of this post of mine), answer the question(s) you were asked, and then nominate your own set of bloggers, create questions for them. And you’re done!
