Award ceremony – March 2018.

Most of you know I have been away from blogging/ the Internet for the better part of March. I returned a few days ago, but decided to ease myself in by just reading and commenting, leaving the new post composition for later (aside from the spur of the moment “Negative experience” vent post). The break knocked me out of my blogging rhythm. It tired me out. It filled my mind with chaos, leaving no space for creativity.

Now, I choose to leave that wallowing behind, and resume my blogging, because I MISSED IT.

I missed writing.

I missed reading your posts.

I missed interacting with all of you.

Somewhere deep down, I feared that I would come back and everyone would have moved on, forgetting about me. But that is not what happened. I received such warm welcomes from other bloggers. I was touched. Moreover, even though I was gone, I still received awards. “Out of sight, out of mind” – they say. Clearly, that is not the case here, and I cannot be more grateful.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for being such a great blogging community. It is all of YOU who deserve all the awards in the world.

On your way out, grab a drink of your choosing (alcoholic or not), a treat (plenty of cookies, brownies and cake), and head on to the ballroom to the right of this auditorium. We shall boogie this night away!

      1. You’re welcome. I’m doing quite well, just really busy these past few weeks that I’m having a hard time keeping up with all the reading, not to mention posting.
It must be really good to take a break. I’d like to follow your footsteps soon.🙂

For those of you who aren't me...and I've noticed a surprisingly large number of people who aren't.
