Award ceremony – May 2018

May – a month I have been working towards for a couple of months. It has been a busy month. A lot of new things. A lot of new beginnings. Overwhelming majority of the month has been positive for me. How has this month been for you?

My blogging game has been off this month. I have to admit. My plan is to restart my usual *NEW* post postings ASAP. It will require me to come up with a new routine, but it will get done. In the meantime, I do hope you are enjoying reading my older content, since not all of you have been a part of my blogging circle back then, when I first posted it.

Writing this post, I look back at the last 12 months of my blogging activity. I look back to when I did not have a single follower (aside from myself, which I believe to be default). I look back to when I read other people’s award posts with longing in my eyes. I look back to my first nomination euphoria, and then for more happiness as the awards never stopped coming in. Good times.

Thank you for all your wonderful words, for your visits, for your perspectives and nominations. You truly make this blogging world a greater place.

Thank you for your ongoing support!

    1. I do an award post on the last day of every month, so if you nominate me the day before, it’s quick, but if you do so on the first of the month, you end up waiting the whole month.
Again, thank you for the nomination.

      1. My blogging is easily explained. I live alone, I don’t work and I love the writing process. On my blog there is a page called Envy which contains a story I have been writing. It is basically a piece of self-indulgence but with an audience of two, we boys don’t need a lot of encouragement to continue with a task. Have a good day and thanks for stopping by.

  1. For me February was the month I looked and worked forward to.
The month of the big change. I thought all my problems were going to be solved.
That didn’t happen, but the most bothering issues I was able to flush down the toilet.

Independence is very important to me too. But I think I have made people and myself believe that I don’t need any help at all.
But I do. I’m too proud to ask or accept it.

You are actually the only who nominates me for these awards.
I have been nominated in the past, but kept declining them, so no one ever bothered any more 😉
    I will get to it!

    1. Life would be too nice if all our problems were solved, so I am glad that you at least managed to get rid of one of your issues.

RE: independence… I so understand and can relate.

I am so bad with those nominations, because so many people don’t do them, so many people are nominated a million times a day, so many are MIA. And when I do “whoever wants it”, it doesn’t feel as special, and no one does it. I have to come up with a better strategy.

      1. I actually started to enjoy the awards. It gives me an opportunity to write more positive posts. All of my other stuff is more heavy and dark even.
        Keep ‘em coming! 😀
