Award ceremony – October 2018.

*NOMINATION NO. 3 and 4*
(name and icon chosen by me, since it was not specified by those who nominated me)

(See page 1 for thanks and intro.)

FROM: Andrea, whom I exchange thoughts and comments with quite regularly. Her posts are usually short, and always engaging, prompting you to think of YOUR experiences. She also has a Doodle Emotions store, if you feel like checking it out.

FROM: Coffee, whom I still am not sure how to address. You can count on often controversial, but definitely thought-provoking posts when it comes to his posts. Some great brainstorms have formed from such.

  1. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? (the most annoying question on earth, I know)
VERY annoying question. Whenever people in real life ask me that, I say: “We shall see.” Then, to their follow up question I reply: “We are not promised tomorrow, let alone 5 years from now.”
  2. If you could go to the moon for free, would you?
I probably would. Because “why not?”. I know a lot of people say: “No”, but I would strongly consider it out of sheer curiosity.
  3. What is your biggest fear?
Being on my deathbed and not being proud of the life I have lived.
  4. In what do you find yourself more brave than others?
    Trying new things.
  5. If you could have one non pet as a pet (and it wouldn’t be dangerous), what would it be?
Not dangerous? So it cannot be a tiger? Well, then, maybe… a human?
  6. What makes you peaceful and what makes you nervous?
Peaceful – music, swimming, being in nature
Nervous – lines (traffic, queues), places filled with people
  7. What is one of your qualities which could be both positive for most but negative for others?
    Perfectionism. For sure.
  8. Which country would you visit just for the food?
    Tough choice. Maybe Portugal?
  9. Do you remember your first kiss? Care to share the story? 😉
Yes. I will be unoriginal – no.
  10. What was your most embarrassing moment?
No clue. I have probably blocked it on purpose.
  11. Do you prefer blinds or curtains?
    Blinds. 100%

  1. Wow, somebody’s very popular!!! Congratulations Goldie. Dostoevsky, very impressive, your street cred just went up. Crime and punishment, incredible read. Have you ever read George Orwell? 1984 or Animal Farm?

What about William Golding, The Lord of the Flies?

Lastly, have you ever read King James Version Bible?

    1. I thought I did, until I saw your question. Then I wasn’t so sure at the moment.
It took a moment to collect myself, and I realized that yes, I do know a person, or two like that. Maybe they aren’t like that 100% of the time, but from what I’ve seen, they are near damn close.
You would be one of them.

            1. Now you recognize and acknowledge my good traits. Are YOU in management?
Aren’t we all in a way?
Even though my formal title does not reflect that, I do that job every day.
Thank you for your supportive words.

              1. I did work in supervisory positions in a couple jobs. Then when I left the wonderful world of work I my life was focused on “managing” my family (raising 4 daughters). Now I just manage my own life. LOL.
I was reminded of a couple of bosses that I have had that saw things in me that I didn’t know existed. They put me in positions that I would have never volunteered for and even tried to refuse -yet I excelled and I became a better person for it.

  2. Hey! Congratulations for all the awards that you’ve won! I enjoyed reading all the answers. Ha! Snape and Dumbledore are the top names in my list, too! And you got Gryffindor! I so wanted it but my house shifted between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff (yeah, I tried the the Pottermore test and other online tests many times)
    That quote is pretty thought-provoking.
Noise implies a loud chaos of words, shouts, cries and screeching. Silence means that void in which you hear nothing. Not your thoughts, not any song, nothing. I’d really like to know the answer to this question that is which one of these will you choose and why.

    1. Your nomination made this post possible. I enjoyed answering these questions.
      I’d have to say silence.
Just today I almost exploded because people around me kept talking all day long and I could not get a moment of quiet.
      Which one would YOU choose?

      1. I’d choose silence, too. I tend to get very irritated when I’m in noisy crowded areas. But the idea of being in eternal silence also scares me.

          1. Yes. I mean, who wouldn’t go insane, living in an ever-lasting silence? I guess, in this case, I’d rather not choose between any of them

Hmm? What did you say? I did not hear ya.
