We have made it to Friday.
CongratZ, Ladies, and Gentlemen!
TGIF. Am I right?
Today is a nice change of pace for me since the past few Fridays were less than desirable.
For the first time in a while, I woke up on Thursday and did not wish it was Friday. The week was pretty good. And if the week was OK, then the weekend will be fantastic. Right? Do you agree with my undeniable logic?
What are your plans for the weekend?
I will try and keep mine pretty active, in hopes to flush my system with a lot of “Hormones of Happiness”.
I am bursting with excitement for March. Although it will not be as awesome as last year’s March was, it is shaping up to be a good month.
This is a great opportunity to pat myself on the back.
[pats self on back]
I stuck with a very rigid blogging schedule for the entire month of February. That was a “soft” opening without big announcements and proclamations. On this day, March 1st, 2019, I pledge to … stick to my schedule as much as I can for as long as I can. Yes, it is not 100% committal, but that is because I hate to promise something and then not deliver.
Did you guys notice that my blog was more on fleek this month than usual?
Was that:
- good?
- bad?
- do not care?
Here is the schedule (if you have not noticed yet):
- NROP (News Related Opinion Pieces) on Monday mornings (9am EST)
- CW (Creative Writing) on Thursday mornings (9am EST)
- BT (Blogging Tips) on the 2nd Tuesday of the month (9am EST)
- HW (Hashtag Week) to begin on the last Monday of the month, and then to follow every day until Friday (9am EST)
- Awards on the last day of the month (11.59pm EST)
That is on average 15 posts a month. I hope that is not too many.
– Sending tons of feel-good vibes.-
Stay golden,
***

If I stop and realize that Christmas was over 2 months ago, it seems like the time passes by quickly. But I do agree that February was painful while it lasted.
Cheers to a way better March!

What does it say about all the other longer months?

First of all, Happy New Month, Goldie! February felt like it was going to drag on forever. Phew! I am so glad it’s over.
Wow! You plan to do five posts a week!? That is MASSIVE! I want to be like you when I grow up. 😂
Your schedule makes me think I should have a schedule, too. But I just don’t know if my readers are morning people or night people… I don’t even know if this information should determine my blogging schedule. I mean, someone could say he loves reading around 6 a.m., and 6 a.m there would be 12 p.m where I am.
You think I should make a post and ask my readers to tell me when they prefer to read blog posts?
I hope this weekend goes well, better than this week even! This week has been my busiest this year. I’ll resume studies at the university on Monday (Finally!), so I’ve been preparing for the big day. You know, doing this and that, buying stuff. It’s been hectic.

Happy March!
I’ve been doing 5 posts in a week for a few months already (the hashtags). I do, too, think it’s massive. Thank you for acknowledging it.
For the longest time, I would read about other people’s schedules and I refused. But I feel like now is my time. So you never know. Maybe you’ll start that soon, too. Or not. There has to be a right time for everything. And not everything is for everyone.
Truth be told that the time might change. I chose that time, because that’s what WP tells me is my most popular reading time. The problem is that that percentage is too low to be convincing to me. (If my most popular hour is popular among less than 10% of my readers, is it REALLY my most popular time?) So it might change, but I’ve done it at that time in February, and I want to keep it for another month to see if the % gets stronger. It might change in the future, though.
As far as asking your readers when they read it – sure, go ahead, but it wasn’t really beneficial to me. I’ve done that – asked people. 1. Not many people responded. 2. Most people said they check blogs out intermittently throughout the day. So I didn’t get any specifics really.
Best of luck in school!

Wow. Thank you for this information. It has given me a hint on the next step to take. I remember that time you asked your readers when they read other blogs. I think I even commented on that post.
I think it’s better I do what you’re doing. I’ll study my stats and pick a schedule I believe will work for me. Then I’ll test it for a month and see if my metrics improve as much as I want them to. If they do, I’ll stick with the schedule. If they don’t, I’ll draft another schedule.

🙂 Well, thank you for sharing your new blogging schedule with me.
In my case, I like to keep things simple by publishing content on my blog every Saturday at 19:30 GMT.
May the month of March be an enjoyable one for you!

I had a pretty intense week abroad and then I still had to travel back for 5 hours!
Like you said, although it’s nice to get some sleep in the weekend, I liked this week a lot. I actually didn’t want it to end!
I’m happy to see that you posted more!
And I agree, the more the better from Goldie, but I do have to admit this:
Sometimes a day, or few days in a row, I just am not into logging on to WP or I am too busy. So I might miss out on a some blogs, especially if you post two a day.
I do think you will be overwhelmed with the comments on the posts at one point and it will be hard to catch up.
But definitely test it out for yourself. Like you see in the comments on here, we are all more than happy to read your posts! 😀
PS. I am not completely familar with the abbreviations! (NROP, BT)

I’m glad this week wasn’t miserable for you.
Thank you for your encouragement, and being upfront with me about missing some days. I know it happens.
The schedule sounds insane even to me, but I must give it a go to form a real opinion about it. I’ve been enjoying it so far.
I can’t believe you say I won’t be able to catch up with the comments, because I don’t get that many. But who knows. Maybe one day I will.

HW (hashtag week)

You’re right – I should have put the explanation in the post. You’re not the first to mention that. Let me edit the post right now…
