Annual Block Blog Party Prep

This will be a quick one.

If you’ve been with me for a while, you know that I host a Block Blog party every year around Labor Day (September 2-4).

Each year there was a different twist on it. Check out the links below if you’ve missed them.

Ever since last year, I’ve been musing about this year’s party, and I came up with a virtual meeting. I think it would be a fun idea for us to gather with a beverage and/ or a meal and just chit-chat and get to know one another better.

Disclaimer: It’s OK to keep your camera off (I know I will).

Is this something you would be interested in?

If you are, please leave a comment below. I would then create a Zoom meeting (since that is probably the most popular platform) and send you the link directly (to avoid meeting hijackers).

Let me know:

  • if you want to participate
  • your general availability (ex.: any time, weekday evenings, weekends, etc.)
  • your time zone

RSVP to the most golden party of the year!

In a couple of weeks, I will pick a date + time that works best for most (or all), and we will go from there.

I’m excited! Are you?

Stay golden,

  1. Ooh, sounds fun—I’m game, assuming I can make it work with my schedule. I’m on Pacific time (west coast USA) and evenings or weekends are the times that I’d be available. I tend to work M-F from ~9 AM until ~6 PM, though there are certainly exceptions. I don’t (currently) have any events booked during Labor Day weekend.
