CW: A new series.

This is to announce that I have decided to share some writing exercises that I pen in my spare time.

What can you expect from this new series? It will contain different pieces, inspired by various words, phrases, or quotes. The prompts for the exercises will come from writer sites, pre – selected by me. There will be short stories, poetry, and who knows what else. Sky is the limit.

Every post’s title will start with the letters “CW” (creative writing), so you can know up front what you would be getting yourself into.

The first unveiling will take place in the next few days. Hopefully. (I predict an action-packed weekend.)

I definitely hope that the prompts will stimulate your brain as well, leading to some pieces of your own!

    1. That’d be great if you participated! I like going to for inspiration. Recently, I have also discovered They are full of fun prompts with different style.

Annnd, if you are inspired by the ones I use, feel free to use it, write your own post (a link to my post would be appreciated) and link your post in my comments. Then I, and my readers can check it out, too.

  1. Hello ,

I saw your tweet about animals and thought I will check your website. I like it!

I love pets. I have two beautiful thai cats called Tammy(female) and Yommo(male). Yommo is 1 year older than Tommy. He acts like a bigger brother for her. πŸ™‚
I have even created an Instagram account for them ( ) and probably soon they will have more followers than me (kinda funny).

I have subscribed to your newsletter. πŸ™‚

Keep up the good work on your blog.

  2. Oh what a fool I was, thinking you were in the same boat as me, no no no.
You are on a yacht. A boat dweller of my caliber cannot help you.
OK so unless my sleep affected my counting skills, I think I counted a counted a total of around ~70 posts
, that too in what 9 months? That is really a good testament to your discipline, something I see myself lacking in You are doing absolutely wonderful
but the footer below me is a bit say- one sided, may be make it a bit centrist or bi-partisan eh ill stop with the stupid analogies you get my point :p

    1. Your comment cracked me uuuup!
The boat vs. yacht comparison was just too hilarious.
I always welcome any sort of feedback. It does not matter whether it’s from a new or “old” blogger. I value all opinions.

I’m really proud of my discipline. Thank you for noticing. When I first started, I did not think I could do it, either. I still struggle, but I enjoy it, so I do it. And you will, too.

Customizing my theme is something I am considering very often. But I’ve tried all free ones, and I always come back to this one. Unfortunately, you cannot customize everything… but I will think about this.

      Thank you for your nomination!
